Osprey WASH Strategy
2025-2030
Strategy Overview
We support water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) initiatives that contribute to the delivery of safe, affordable, dignified, sustainable, and scalable services in underserved communities. We emphasize sustainable services, instead of initial access to wells or toilets, because that’s what communities need: reliable services for everyone that keep running forever.

Systems Strengthening – Moving beyond one-time investments in infrastructure to strengthen the local systems essential for delivering sustainable WASH services at scale.
Innovative Funding and Finance – Catalyzing innovative financial approaches that use subsidized funding more effectively and increase access to repayable finance.
Innovative Models – Seeding innovative models that create game-changing improvements in the way WASH services are delivered.
Advocacy and Learning – Advocating for change through collaboration with grantees and other WASH funders and by challenging the sector to adopt systems approaches with the potential for greater impact.
Menstrual Health and Hygiene – Menstrual health and hygiene (MHH) is a necessary component of equitable, sustainable WASH systems and hence a cross-cutting strategy priority.
